In the wake of the escalating crisis with Iran, Pakistan has started monitoring all flights arriving from the western direction, including Iran.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), ongoing surveillance now covers all activities over the western borders' airspace. Directives have been issued to maintain heightened vigilance, with a specific focus on closely monitoring flights arriving from the west within Pakistani borders.

Sources reveal that air traffic control has been instructed to gather comprehensive details of all flights coming from the Western direction, including those from Iran.

This is a crucial development, as previously, flights coming to Pakistan from the west were not subject to monitoring.

As per sources, the airspace between Pakistan and Iran will remain accessible for commercial flights. The Air Traffic Control (ATC) has not been issued any instructions to close the airspace for Iran, and there are no directives for the cessation of commercial flights between Iran and Pakistan.

Pakistan retaliated to Iran’s missile attacks on Thursday morning in Balochistan’s Panjgur by striking militant targets in Iranian territory.

"This morning Pakistan undertook a series of highly coordinated and specifically targeted precision military strikes against terrorist hideouts in Siestan-o-Baluchistan province of Iran," the Foreign Office said in a statement.

"A number of terrorists were killed during the intelligence-based operation – codenamed *‘Marg Bar Sarmachar,” it added.

Pakistan strongly condemned the unprovoked violation of its airspace by Iran on Wednesday, which resulted in the death of two children while injuring three girls.
