Pakistan intensifies diplomacy as Iran, Jordan praise peace efforts

Deputy PM and FM Ishaq Dar held telephonic conversations with Iranian FM Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi in efforts to ease tensions and promote stability in the Middle East through diplomacy.
According to Pakistan’s FO, Dar and Araghchi talked about what's happening in the region and Pakistan’s efforts to encourage peace and dialogue.
The Iranian foreign minister discussed and praised Pakistan’s role in trying to make peace between US and Iran.
Dar stated that Pakistan is committed to constructive engagement and that diplomacy is only way forward in the current situation.
In another call with Jordan’s FM, Ayman Safedi also praised Pakistan’s efforts for peace and stability in the region.
The two leaders discussed ways to reduce tensions and talked about increasing cooperation between their countries at international forums.
Pakistan and Jordan confirmed their ties and promised to keep working together on issues that matter to both countries.
Moreover, Dar spoke about Pakistan’s support for peaceful conflict resolution through dialogue and diplomacy.
Pakistan has recently intensified diplomatic engagement in order to promote stability and peace, in the Middle East.
