KP Information Minister Shafi Jan said on Tuesday that more than 60,000 people have registered for the party's proposed force aimed at securing the release of jailed party founder Imran Khan.

Speaking to reporters, Shafi Jan said the party would soon make a major announcement regarding the initiative, adding that the data of all registered members had been compiled and handed over to the party's database management team.

He said organisational restructuring was essential for strengthening the party and urged all provincial presidents to complete the process, adding that organisational work in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is in its final stages, while bodies including the Insaf Student Federation (ISF), youth, women, minority, IDF and ILF wings also need to be fully organised.

The PTI leader praised CM Sohail Afridi for leading the party's street movement, claiming its impact had been visible in Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was fully prepared for any future course of action decided by the party leadership and would implement whatever decision was taken by Mahmood Khan Achakzai.

Shafi Jan also said participation in any protest outside Adiala Jail was the collective responsibility of party workers across all provinces, adding that office-bearers unwilling to shoulder their responsibilities should step down.
