A British newspaper, the Guardian, has disclosed in a special report that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) regime in India is directly involved in 20 killings on Pakistani soil.

Based on interviews and documents from Pakistani and Indian intelligence sources, the report revealed that India's intelligence agency, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), operates under direct control from Prime Minister Modi's office, pursuing a policy targeting individuals abroad whom it perceives as “enemies” to India.

After Canada publicly accused India of killing opponents and Sikh separatists on its soil, the recent revelation in the Guardian report detailing how RAW carried out assassinations in Pakistan and violated its sovereignty has raised concerns about India’s international conduct.

Since 2020, RAW has ordered twenty murders in Pakistan. The report quoted Pakistani investigators as saying “These deaths were orchestrated by Indian intelligence sleeper-cells mostly operating out of the United Arab Emirates.”

“The rise in killings in 2023 was credited to the increased activity of these cells, which are accused of paying millions of rupees to local criminals or poor Pakistanis to carry out the assassinations,” it added.

Indian agents reportedly enlisted jihadists to execute the shootings, convincing them that their targets were "infidels.”

As disclosed by two Indian intelligence officers, RAW's strategy of targeting separatists abroad arose following the 2019 Pulwama attack, which claimed the lives of 40 Indian soldiers in a suicide bombing incident.

It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan's Foreign Secretary, Syrus Sajjad Qazi, stated during a media briefing in Islamabad on January 25, that he possesses "authentic evidence" implicating Indian operatives in two killings on Pakistani territory.
