Ducky Bhai sent on two-day physical remand in gambling case

A Lahore court on Sunday granted a two-day physical remand of YouTuber Saadur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, in connection with a case related to the alleged promotion of online gambling and betting applications.

According to officials, Rehman was taken into custody by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) early Sunday morning at Lahore airport. The agency later produced him before a duty judicial magistrate and sought physical remand for investigation. The court accepted the request and ordered the agency to present him again on August 19 along with a detailed progress report.

The case was registered by the state through the NCCIA on August 17, with charges framed under sections 13, 14, 25, and 26 of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, as well as sections 294-B and 420 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

As per the First Information Report (FIR), the YouTuber is accused of promoting online betting platforms, including Binomo and 1xBet, through his channel.
