Legendary comedian Umer Sharif's second wife has levelled serious allegations against his son from his first marriage, claiming that he played a role in the untimely passing of his young sister and contributed to Umer Sharif's deteriorating health, ultimately leading to his death.

In a recent interview to Samaa TV, Zareen Umer disclosed that Jawad opted for an illegal transplant allegedly to save money intended for his sister's treatment.

Zareen Umer said that Umer Sharif was deeply saddened and unhappy with Jawad, holding him responsible for his sister's untimely death.

She mentioned that Jawad also hindered the immediate treatment of his father, adding that she reached out to Indian doctors, who were willing to come to Pakistan, but her son did not agree.

“The doctor informed me that due to Umer’s heart attack, a valve leaked, and he had to immediately seek treatment abroad. Umer had initially been given a 25-day window, but his son wasted five days because he wanted to go to the US,” Zareen said.

She maintained that Umer's friends preferred India and Saudi Arabia for treatment, but they also advised Zareen to agree with her son to avoid any dispute.

“His son insisted on the government taking his entire family and requested visas from the Sindh government, causing a delay in the visa process. When the doctor instructed me to arrange an air ambulance, Jawad demanded five crores from me,” Zareen went on.

Zareen mentioned that Jawad intended to relocate his family to the US on the pretext of his father’s medical treatment.

“When the air ambulance arrived, his blood pressure dropped, and doctors refused to transport him to the USA. However, his son gave a 100% guarantee to shift him there. Upon reaching Germany, doctors informed us that we had wasted precious time, and immediate treatment was necessary. Unfortunately, his son, Jawad, never agreed, and he is still in the USA.” She said.
