Renowned actor Adnan Siddiqui recently came under fire for his controversial remarks about women. He compared them to flies, implying that attracting women is as easy as attracting flies.

During a recent appearance on a morning show, Adnan Siddiqui was interrupted by a fly. This seemingly trivial incident led him to make an unexpected and controversial analogy, comparing women to flies.

He said, "The analogy of women and flies is the same. The more you chase them, the further they'll fly away. But if you sit still, they might just land on your hand."

The host, Nida Yasir, who is no stranger to controversy on her popular morning show, also seemed uncomfortable with Siddiqui's remarks.

Siddiqui's remarks sparked outrage on social media, with many users criticising the continued objectification of women.

They pointed out that comparing women to objects like "honey" or "flies" in the 21st century is an offensive tactic used to justify outdated arguments.

“It's not the 90s anymore. We should be careful with such nonsensical analogies. Even if he means well, this is considered disrespectful now,” a social media user wrote.

An Instagram user noted, “Even the most educated men have proven time and time again that they don’t really respect women as human beings, equals to door ki baat hai [let alone as equals]. They all lie when they say they respect women.”

“Alright ladies, add ‘makhi’ to the lists of things we are along with candy, lollypops, mirrors, treasure boxes etc,” another user chimed in.

“They call themselves men proudly, and their conversation starts and ends with ridiculing women,” a comment read.
