Woman gives birth to quintuplets at Peshawar’s Lady Reading Hospital

A woman in Peshawar has given birth to five healthy babies at the Lady Reading Hospital, marking a rare and joyful event.

According to details, the woman, a resident of Peshawar, delivered five healthy infants — three girls and two boys.

Hospital administration confirmed that the babies were delivered through a C-section procedure, and that both the mother and all five newborns are in good health and under medical observation in the ward.

Earlier, a woman in Gujranwala gave birth to five babies, four girls and one boy, simultaneously at a private hospital in what medical staff described as a rare case.

The mother, identified as Komal, was brought to the hospital. According to the hospital staff, she gave birth to the quintuplets after a normal delivery.

One of the newborn babies is said to be in critical condition and has been shifted to the nursery for specialised care.
