Gold price surge by Rs9,100 in Pakistan

Prices of gold and silver shot up and recorded all-time highs in local and international markets on Friday. 

According to All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers, the gold price per tola increased to a record height to Rs. 514,662, with a rise of Rs9,100. 

Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs7,802, settling at Rs 441,239.

In the international bullion market, the price of gold went upwards by a record of $91 per ounce and reached an all-time high of $4,923 per ounce.

Silver has also noted a spurt in price. The price of one tola of silver has risen by Rs372 to touch the level of Rs10,275.
