Israeli military claims targeting Hamas spokesman Abu Ubaida

GAZA: The Israeli military has claimed that it targeted Hamas spokesman Abu Ubaida in an airstrike on a residential building in Gaza.
According to Israeli media reports, the strike hit the first and second floors of the building, allegedly targeting the spokesman of Hamas’s military wing.
However, no further details have been released. Hamas has yet to issue a response to the Israeli claim.
Meanwhile, Israeli bombardment on Gaza continues relentlessly. In the past 24 hours, 77 Palestinians were killed, including 19 people who were waiting for humanitarian aid.
Since October 7, 2023, the total death toll in Gaza has reached 63,371, while 159,835 people have been wounded.
The humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to worsen, with famine claiming the lives of another 10 Palestinians.

Palestinian officials have urged the international community to take action against Israel’s obstruction of aid delivery.
Separately, the United Kingdom has decided not to invite Israeli officials to the London Defense Exhibition in protest against Israel’s plan to expand its military operation in Gaza.
