The Israeli occupation forces intercepted the Freedom Flotilla’s Conscience ship and Thousand Madleens to Gaza, as they approached 120 nautical miles from the Gaza coast.
Videos emerged online showing Israeli navy boats closing in on the aid ships as they neared their destination.
The Israeli army jammed the boats' communication, which cut the live streams.
The Conscience boat of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, carrying 93 doctors, journalists, and activists, came under attack by Israeli occupation forces as it sailed to break the Israeli siege of the Gaza Strip.
At approximately 220 kilometers off the Gaza coast, the Israeli military unlawfully intercepted and attacked the vessels, including Gaza Sunbirds, Alaa Al-Najjar and Anas Al-Sharif.
A video online captured the moment of the assault, showing Israeli forces hitting the camera with a weapon to hide the attack on the Sunbirds vessel.
Hundreds of activists attempted to sail to Gaza on boats following the Israeli occupation's interception of the Global Sumud Flotilla in October. That incident resulted in the abduction of approximately 450 activists, the majority of whom have since been recently released.
The detained activists have since made complaints of mistreatment by Israeli forces, including torture and being deprived of food, water, and medication. The detainees were held in Israel's notorious Ketziot Prison in the Negev desert.
