The met department had predicted that the Kingdom was expected to receive heavy rain, thunderstorms and hail on Sunday.

The weather department forecast more rainfall in Hafr Al Batin, Mecca, and southwestern highlands on Monday (today), while the central parts of the Kingdom are also expected to receive dust storms due to active southwesterly winds.

It said some parts of the west and north of the Kingdom may experience unexpected showers.
