The Health Ministry in Gaza released a document listing Palestinians killed in the Israeli genocide since October 7, 2023, including 710 newborns among the 34,344 people reported dead as of August 31.

Palestinian authorities on Monday published a 649-page document, compiling data on the 34,344 civilians killed up to August, with efforts ongoing to document an additional 7,000 deaths from the Israeli military offensive.

The report included the names of 11,355 children, 6,297 women, 2,955 elderly people, and 13,737 men.

The first 14 pages of the document listed the names of 712 newborn babies killed in the Israeli attacks.

Images and videos of decapitated, burned, and severely injured babies continue to circulate on social media as Israeli airstrikes target humanitarian zones, residential buildings, and hospitals.

In August, Israeli strikes killed twin newborns along with their mother by hitting their residential building, while their father was out collecting their birth certificates.

The twins, a boy and a girl, were only three days old.

Israel has continued to claim that Hamas is responsible for beheading babies, which prompted US President Joe Biden to condemn the Palestinian resistance group.

However, no Israeli or international organisation has been able to verify such claims, while images of decapitated Palestinian children following Israeli airstrikes continue to emerge from the besieged Gaza Strip.

Despite the orders of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to cease military operations in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army has intensified its attacks on the enclave while simultaneously imposing an aid blockade on the starving Palestinians.

As per the UNICEF report in June, children in Gaza have faced an unbelievable amount of brutality, with more than 14,000 killed and many unidentifiable due to the severe harm their bodies suffered.

The UN also reported discovering children’s bodies in mass graves, showing "signs of torture, summary executions, and even instances of people being buried alive.
