Following public outrage over a video of a woman running over a traffic warden on the motorway in Rawalpindi, another video has surfaced on social media showing an altercation between Motorway police and two women near Kallar Kahar.

In the video, the women can be seen hurling abuses at the Motorway police and accusing the officers of hitting one of them and making threats.

The Motorway personnel and the women filmed each other during the quarrel. The women alleged that the police officers attempted to snatch their mobile phone.

One woman claimed the officer demanded a bribe, while the officer said that the women were filming without consent and impeding the flow of traffic. 

In their official response, the Motorway Police (North Zone) stated that they stopped the women for exceeding the speed limit and driving recklessly on the motorway near Kallar Kahar.

The statement accused the women of misconduct towards the Motorway Police officers. 

It further added that despite being asked to calm down, the women refused to comply with instructions and fled the scene without paying the penalty.

The Motorway Police stated that legal action is being taken against them.

Earlier, a woman, who was stopped by a traffic warden on Motorway in Rawalpindi for speeding was arrested after a video of the incident went viral on social media. She misbehaved and deliberately drove her car over a cop.
