Karachi: Two people were killed and four others injured in a firing incident in Pahlwan Goth, located in the Gulistan-e-Johar area of Karachi, police confirmed on Monday.

According to police, two killed were identified as Syed Mazhar Abbas s/o Muhammad Ali and Ali Waris s/o Molana Rajab Ali. 

The injured include Ali Hassan s/o Afsar Ali, Muhammad Ali s/o Afsar Ali and Habib Ali s/o Unknown (injured).

According to police, the incident was the result of a violent clash between two rival groups.

Following the incident, a heavy contingent of police arrived at the scene and launched an investigation.

Meanwhile, dead bodies and injured were shifted to the hospital for legal proceedings.

Earlier, police found the body of another woman stuffed in a drum near the Malir River in Shah Latif Town’s Sharafi Goth.

According to the police, the body is estimated to be around 25 days old and is in an advanced state of decomposition.

They said that the woman’s hands and feet were tied before she was placed inside the drum.
