Punjab cop caught filming women in hospital bathroom

GUJAR KHAN: A police officer was caught red-handed taking inappropriate photos of women inside the bathroom of a government hospital in Gujar Khan, exposing a disturbing incident of misconduct within the force.
The incident occurred at the Civil Hospital in Gujar Khan, where a civilian spotted the plainclothes officer capturing images of women in the hospital's bathroom and other areas.
Acting swiftly, the bystander apprehended the suspect along with his mobile phone and handed him over to the local police.
The accused was later identified as Aqeel Abbas, a resident of Rajgaan and an officer affiliated with the police training wing in Lahore.
A case has been registered against him under Sections 354 and 292 of the Pakistan Penal Code based on a complaint filed by Bilal Hussain, the civilian who intervened.

According to the FIR, the complainant had visited the hospital for medical treatment when he witnessed the accused taking indecent photographs of women. Upon checking the suspect’s phone, obscene images of women were discovered.
SP Saddar Nabeel Khokhar confirmed the suspect’s affiliation with the Lahore training wing and stated that a thorough investigation is underway.
He asserted that those involved in such disgraceful acts will face strict legal action, and the department is committed to ensuring accountability and justice.
