Outrage at Ghalib Restaurant: Customers allegedly harassed and assaulted by staff

An incident happened at Ghalib Restaurant, Tipu Sultan Road, where many people witnessed customers being harassed and brutally treated by the staff and overall management of the restaurant.

One eyewitness at the restaurant posted about the incident on social media, which immediately sparked public outrage, with netizens calling for a boycott of Ghalib Restaurant.

The social media user shared that she, along with her family members, went to celebrate her father’s birthday at Ghalib, but it turned into a nightmare due to what they witnessed.

She further stated:

“What we witnessed with our own eyes was disturbing. Customers were verbally abused, including women, and the situation escalated when one of the waiters smashed a plate on a customer’s head, causing him to bleed from the back. That plate could have struck his head or eyes and could have been fatal. Even more shocking was that the manager continued pushing and mistreating customers instead of stopping the situation.”

After the incident went viral and caught public attention, the girl wrote:

“Treating customers like this is absurd. This is not hospitality. This is not professionalism. This is unacceptable behavior from a restaurant that people trust with their families and special moments.”
