A Karachi court on Saturday disposed of bail applications filed by Mir Raza Ali's business partner Ahmed Bhardey and his brother Abdullah in the murder case.
The bail applications were heard by the Additional District and Sessions Court (East) at the City Court. Ahmed, Abdullah and the investigation officer appeared before the court.
During the hearing, defence lawyer Khalid Mumtaz informed the court that the names of both applicants were not included in the police charge sheet.
The investigation officer submitted copies of the charge sheet and confirmed that the names of Ahmed and Abdullah were not included in the interim charge sheet as suspects.
The court also asked about the complainant, to which the state prosecutor replied that the complainant has not appeared.
The court said the reasons for withdrawal of the bail applications would not be recorded in the order. It subsequently disposed of the bail pleas filed by Ahmed and Abdullah.
