Multan man arrested for making obscene gesture at woman

A young man in Multan was arrested by the Crime Control Department (CCD) after a woman shared a video on social media, complaining that he had harassed her.
The incident reportedly took place on August 24, when the woman, filmed the man making indecent gestures toward her while riding a motorcycle.
CCD Multan traced the suspect within 24 hours. During the arrest attempt, he tried to speed away on his motorcycle but fell, sustaining injuries.
Upon interrogation, the man identified himself as Hafiz Muhammad Moeed, son of Shah Zaman Qom Sheikh, a resident of Farooq Pura, Multan.
Later, CCD released a video of Moeed from detention, in which he admitted to harassing women and apologised for his behavior.

“I am a resident of Multan and I used to make indecent gestures toward women in public. When CCD raided my house, I tried to escape on a motorcycle but fell, injuring the finger I used to make those gestures,” he confessed.
He further urged others to refrain from such behavior and thanked CCD officials, saying they made him realise his mistake.
