Aleema Khan, sister of former prime minster Imran Khan, on Monday submitted an application to the court in the case of the November 26th protest to declare her not guilty in the case.

The application was submitted under Section 265 K as the Special Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), Rawalpindi, issued notices to the parties to address the plea.

Aleema Khan appeared before the court, accompanied by her lawyer, who represented her and provided legal arguments on her behalf. However, Faisal Malik, the prosecutor, represented the state.

The defense, however, asked for the proceedings to be postponed until after the winter break. The court granted the request and adjourned the hearing to January 2.

Earlier, Aleema Khan had informed the court that 11 books had been submitted and requested to be given to Imran Khan, to which the court agreed, and the judge told her that the books had been given to Khan. Aleema Khan thanked the court.
