Sanghar: A significant development has emerged in the case of journalist Khawar Hussain, whose body was found in his car in Sanghar.

According to sources, the medical board has declared his death a suicide following preliminary investigations.

Sources revealed that Hussain was shot from a very close range, suggesting suicide. Investigators stated that no evidence of another person’s presence or involvement was found in either the vehicle or on the journalist’s body.

However, officials confirmed that blood sample reports have not yet been received, and a clearer picture of the case will only emerge once those results are available.

It was further disclosed that Hussain’s family has so far refused to lodge a formal case.

On the night of August 16, Khawar Hussain’s body was discovered inside a car parked outside a private hotel on Hyderabad Road, sparking questions and speculation regarding the circumstances of his death.

Following the discovery, Hussain’s body was moved to the mortuary of a Hyderabad hospital. His brother, Ijaz Hussain, had requested the formation of a medical board and a detailed post-mortem under the supervision of senior medical officers.

Acting on directives from higher authorities, a second autopsy was conducted at Civil Hospital Hyderabad, which also included CT scans and X-rays.

A three-member medical board, including a forensic expert, collected further samples during the process.

After the post-mortem, Hussain’s body was transported to his native village in Sanghar for burial. His funeral was attended by family members, fellow journalists, and a large number of local residents.
