Floods in Punjab have so far claimed 46 lives and affected more than 3.5 million people, according to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).
Director General PDMA Punjab, Irfan Ali Kathia, stated that as many as 3,944 villages have been hit by the floods, while between 25,000 to 30,000 people are currently staying in relief camps.
