Veteran actor Mustafa Qureshi fractures leg after fall on broken Karachi road

Renowned Pakistani film actor Mustafa Qureshi sustained a leg fracture after falling into a dug-up portion of a road during his morning walk in Karachi.

The veteran actor, known for his roles in over 700 films, said he was walking early in the morning when his foot got caught in an uneven, broken section of the road.

“I fell badly when my foot got stuck in the dug-up road. My head hit the pavement — my eye was saved, but my leg broke,” Qureshi said.

In a statement, the actor expressed frustration over the poor condition of city roads, saying, “May Allah give wisdom to those in power to repair Karachi’s streets.”

According to family sources, doctors have advised Mustafa Qureshi to rest for six weeks following the injury.
