He took to his Instagram story and shared, “As we welcome 2024, let’s take a moment to reflect on the plight of Palestinian people. Over 22,000 lives lost, 7,000 still missing/under rubble and countless children left amputated. It is a harsh reality that questions out shared humanity. Shamedully Israel aims at ethnic cleansing of PAlestinians. This new year, let our resolutions focus on peace, humility, making the world a safe space for all and never supporting the violent politican agendas of political powers. Let’s par to Allah that 2024 bring hope, empathy for the Palestinian community and people in other conflict zones. #PeaceForPalestine  #StandWithGaza.”

Shaniera Akram shared a heartfelt picture with husband Wasim Akram, urging everyone to cherish their loved ones more in the coming year.
