Gold prices surge by Rs2,300 in Pakistan

Gold prices across the country have increased by over Rs 2,000 today.

According to the All Pakistan Gems & Jewellery Association, the price of gold per tola has risen by Rs 2,300, bringing it to Rs 528,562 per tola.

The association added that the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 1,972 to reach Rs 453,156.

Meanwhile, in the international bullion market, gold rose by $23,settling at $5,058 per ounce.

Spot silver was up 3.4% at $83.40 per ounce, after falling more than 3% in the previous session.

Spot platinum rose 2.8% to $2,146.07 per ounce, while palladium added 2.6% to $1,751.79.
