Gold prices drop sharply in Pakistan as global market weakens
Silver prices also followed the downward trend

Gold prices fell sharply in Pakistan on Tuesday, following a decline in the international market.
According to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs10,400 to settle at Rs432,236.
The rate for 10 grams of gold also declined by Rs9,360, bringing it down to Rs368,985.
A day earlier, gold had closed at Rs442,636 per tola after gaining Rs4,643. In the international market, gold prices slipped by $104 per ounce, taking the rate to $4,098, including a premium of $20.
Silver prices also followed the downward trend, falling by Rs487 to close at Rs6,664 per tola.
