Trump appears in newly released photos from Epstein estate

Congressional Democrats on Friday made public 19 more photographs obtained from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, as a court-imposed deadline approaches for the release of a large cache of material linked to the late financier.

The newly disclosed images include several showing US President Donald Trump.

House Oversight Committee Democrats said the photographs are part of more than 95,000 images provided by Epstein’s estate that are currently under review. Trump appears in three of the released images.

One black-and-white photograph shows him smiling alongside several women whose faces have been obscured. Another image places Trump standing next to Epstein, while a third shows him seated with a woman, his tie loosened. The time and location of the photographs were not identified.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump downplayed the images, saying Epstein was a well-known figure in Palm Beach and had been photographed with many people.

The Epstein case has remained a sensitive political issue, particularly among Trump supporters, some of whom believe information about Epstein’s connections has been concealed.

In July, the US Justice Department said it found no evidence supporting claims of a client list or grounds to pursue third parties.

Trump has said he ended his association with Epstein before the financier’s 2008 conviction and has denied any knowledge of criminal conduct. Other figures appearing in the images include former President Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Steve Bannon and Larry Summers.
