Saudi Arabia announces 2027 Hajj services package for foreign pilgrims

Saudi Arabia has introduced a single electronic contract covering major services for foreign pilgrims planning to perform Hajj in 2027.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said that the package would be available through the Electronic Path platform and would cover the pilgrim’s arrangements from arrival in Saudi Arabia until departure.

The package brings together accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, transport, catering and services at the holy sites. Pilgrims will also have the option of choosing additional services.

According to the ministry, foreign Hajj offices and authorised agencies will be able to create different programmes for groups of pilgrims under the new system. The initiative is part of Saudi Arabia’s early preparations for the 1448 AH Hajj season and supports the goals of Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program.

The ministry has already started preparations for the upcoming Hajj. It has held meetings with Hajj affairs offices from more than 75 countries to discuss operational plans, rules and other requirements.

Saudi Arabia has been expanding its use of digital systems for Hajj services. Its electronic platforms now bring together areas such as contracts, operations and visa procedures in an effort to simplify arrangements for pilgrims and service providers.
