More than 120,000 Palestinian Muslims prayed at Al-Aqsa Mosque, Islam's third holiest site, on the last Friday of Ramadan, data provided by the Department of Islamic Awqaf revealed.

But, Israeli forces reportedly harassed and attempted to prevent worshippers from entering the mosque.

According to the Department of Islamic Awqaf, over 120,000 Palestinians attended Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The last Friday also coincided with Laylat-e-Qadr in Palestine, the holiest night of Ramadan. This night marks the beginning of the revelation of the Holy Quran to the Holy Prophet Muhammad [PBUH].

Amidst the ongoing Israeli genocide, Palestinian Muslims observed a somber final Friday of Ramadan, offering prayers for their brethren suffering in the Gaza Strip.

Throughout the holy month of Ramadan, Israeli forces subjected Muslim worshippers at Al-Aqsa to harassment and mistreatment.

Muslims around the world will celebrate Eid al-Fitr, likely on April 9 or 10, after fasting for nearly a month.
