Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has cancelled his planned visit to India, citing security concerns following a recent explosion in New Delhi, Israeli media reported on Tuesday.

According to the reports, Netanyahu was scheduled to visit India later this year, where he was expected to hold meetings with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior officials. However, the trip has now been postponed once again due to heightened security risks.

This marks the second time in recent months that Netanyahu has called off a visit to India. In September, he cancelled a planned one-day trip citing similar concerns. The Israeli premier last travelled to India in 2018.

The latest decision comes after an explosion in the Indian capital earlier this month, which prompted security agencies to reassess potential risks for visiting foreign dignitaries. Officials from both countries have yet to comment on a potential new date for the visit.
