Pakistan’s rising squash player Noor Zaman reached a career-high world ranking of 37 on Tuesday, marking his best position to date on the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Rankings.

The 21-year-old’s climb follows an intense competition schedule across North America, where he participated in four consecutive invitational tournaments. His recent run began with a victory at the NASH Cup in Canada in September, followed by a semi-final appearance at the Charlottesville Open on October 3. He later reached the quarterfinals of both the Open Squash Classic and the Richardson Wealth Men’s Open.

Noor’s latest ranking represents a steady upward trajectory over the past month. He broke into the PSA Top 50 on September 29 at number 47 and improved to 42 by October 13, before reaching 37 this week.

The achievement caps a busy year for the young athlete, who won his maiden world title at the U23 World Squash Championships in April. His consistent performances on the international circuit have positioned him among the sport’s most promising emerging talents.

According to the PSA’s latest weekly update, Egypt’s Mostafa Asal retains the top position, followed by Diego Elias of Peru and New Zealand’s Paul Coll in second and third places, respectively.
