The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Saudi Arabia Cricket Federation (SACF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday to collaborate on the development of cricket infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, including the construction of an international-standard cricket stadium in Jeddah.
The agreement was signed by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and SACF Chairman HRH Prince Saud bin Mishal Al Saud during a ceremony attended by officials from both organisations.
According to the PCB, the partnership aims to develop world-class cricket infrastructure, improve operational standards and support initiatives to strengthen the sport in the Kingdom. The proposed stadium in Jeddah will be designed to meet international requirements for hosting global cricket competitions.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Naqvi said the PCB was pleased to contribute to the growth of cricket in Saudi Arabia. He said the partnership would promote the sport while further strengthening the longstanding ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
