Pakistan’s left-arm fast bowler Mohammad Amir has reached a historic milestone in T20 cricket.
He completed 400 wickets in the format during the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2025.
The achievement came in the seventh fixture of the tournament at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound on Wednesday.
Representing Trinbago Knight Riders, Amir dismissed Fabian Allen of Antigua and Barbuda Falcons to reach the landmark.
With this feat, the 33-year-old has become only the second Pakistani pacer to claim 400 wickets in T20 cricket. Wahab Riaz remains ahead with 413 wickets in 348 matches.
Amir, who reached the milestone in his 343rd appearance, has now entered the top ten of all-time wicket-takers in the format.

The former Pakistan star also produced an impressive performance on the night. He finished with four wickets for 31 runs in his four-over spell. Despite his efforts, Trinbago Knight Riders ended on the losing side.
Batting first, Antigua and Barbuda Falcons posted 167 for six. Fabian Allen played a blistering knock of 45 from 20 deliveries, while captain Imad Wasim remained unbeaten on 39 off 27 balls. Their contributions carried the team to a competitive total.
In reply, Trinbago Knight Riders fell short by eight runs. Veteran all-rounder Kieron Pollard tried to turn the game with a vintage performance.
He struck 43 runs from 28 balls, hitting four sixes and three boundaries, but his innings could not take the team over the line.
