The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially launched the trophy tour for the T20 World Cup 2026, with the journey beginning at the historic Adam Bridge, a symbolic landmark connecting India and Sri Lanka, the tournament’s joint hosts.
As part of the tour, the T20 World Cup trophy will arrive in Oman on Wednesday, where cricket fans will be able to view it at Avenues Mall and the Emirates Cricket Academy.
The initiative aims to bring the excitement of the global tournament closer to supporters across different regions.
Beyond India and Sri Lanka, the trophy will travel to several other countries, including Qatar, Nepal, Bahrain, and Mongolia, expanding the tournament’s reach and engagement ahead of the mega event.
During the international tour, the trophy will be showcased at domestic T20 leagues, bilateral series, educational institutions, and historic locations, allowing fans from diverse backgrounds to experience the prestigious silverware up close.
The ICC T20 World Cup 2026 is scheduled to be held from February 7 to March 8, with matches taking place across multiple venues in India and Sri Lanka.
