The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a tender inviting bids for the Multan Sultans franchise after its ownership was vacated when Ali Tareen opted not to renew his contract.

According to an advertisement published in newspapers, the deadline for submission of technical proposals is January 30, and the bids will be opened the same day at 3:30pm.

“PCB is inviting bids for the Team Franchise Rights of the Multan franchise, presenting an opportunity for prospective investors to participate in the New Era of HBL PSL,” read the advertisement.

“Having been an integral part of the HBL PSL since its third edition in 2018, Multan already enjoys an established presence and following within the league.”
