Two friends killed as motorcycle crashes into pavement at Karachi's Karimabad underpass

Two young men were killed when their speeding motorcycle skidded and crashed into a pavement at the Karimabad underpass in Karachi, police said.

The victims were identified as Azhar and Shehbaz, who were close friends and residents of Gulberg, according to the police.

The police reached the scene after receiving information about the accident, took the bodies into custody and shifted them to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for the completion of legal formalities.

In a separate incident a day earlier, a motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a trailer on Mai Kolachi Road.

Rescue officials said the body was shifted to Civil Hospital for legal proceedings, but the victim's identity could not be ascertained.
