Two suicide bombers struck the foreign nationals' car in the Landhi area of Karachi, police said on Friday.

However, all five foreigners remained unharmed in the attack and were shifted to an undisclosed location.

According to police, the incident took place in the Mansehra Colony area of Landhi when two terrorists hit their motorbike with the foreigners' van.

Terrorists involved in the suicide attack were killed, police added.

SSP Malir Tariq Mastoi confirmed the suicide attack, saying a bag carrying grenades and a Kalashnikov was also recovered from the crime scene. 

Three others were injured in the attack and were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medical assistance.

Hospital officials said out of the three injured, identified as  Noor Muhammad, Langar Khan, and Salman Rafiq, two were critically injured.

The nationality of the foreigners was not confirmed by the police till the filing of this news.
