The accused in the Mustafa Amir murder case, Armaghan and Shiraz, have refused to receive court notices.
The Sindh High Court heard a petition seeking a speedy trial in the Mustafa Amir murder case. During the hearing, the court was informed that the accused, Armaghan and Shiraz, had refused to receive the court notices.
The Sindh High Court expressed surprise at the accused's refusal to accept the notices.
Justice Muhammad Iqbal Kalhoro remarked, “So, the accused is refusing to receive the court's notice altogether.”
In response, Advocate Iftikhar Shah informed the court that the accused had refused to receive the court notices for the second time.
The court observed that the accused were refusing to receive the notices, while the trial court was also non-functional due to the absence of an appointed judge.
Subsequently, the court adjourned the hearing indefinitely.
