Police have launched an investigation after five members of a family were found dead inside an apartment in Karachi's Bin Qasim Town on Tuesday.
The deceased included a couple, their two daughters aged under six, and the husband’s sister, who was in her early 20s, police officials said.
The bodies were found in a one-room apartment in Block J of Gulshan-i-Falaknaz. According to police, the apartment was locked from the inside.
The SHO Bin Qasim said that the couple had sustained fatal injuries. A pistol was also recovered from the scene. The Edhi rescue service shifted the bodies to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for further legal formalities.
