ASF Officer who misbehaved with girl at airport dismissed from service

The Airport Security Force (ASF) inspector, who forcibly pushed and grabbed the hair of a young girl who ran towards her father arriving from abroad at Karachi Airport, has been dismissed from his job.

According to ASF officials, further strict action is being taken against the involved officer under the relevant laws.

The ASF authorities stated that Sub-Inspector Shaban, belonging to Kamalia area of Punjab, who had completed 35 years of service in ASF, was in charge of the international arrivals gate at Karachi Airport at the time of the incident.

According to officials, the incident of grabbing the girl by her hair occurred on March 10 at around 12:50 pm.

According to ASF officials, no complaint was received in this regard, but when the video of the incident went viral on social media, formal action was taken against Shaban.
