TikTok removed more than 25 million videos in Pakistan for violating its community guidelines between April and June 2025, according to the platform’s latest Community Guidelines Enforcement Report released on Monday.

The short-video app said it took down 25,448,992 videos in Pakistan during the second quarter, adding that 99.7% of the removals were proactive, and 96.2% occurred within 24 hours of detection.

Globally, TikTok removed 189 million videos, representing 0.7% of all uploaded content. Of these, more than 163 million were detected using automated systems, while 7.4 million were reinstated following review.

The report said TikTok deleted nearly 77 million fake accounts and over 25 million suspected underage accounts worldwide during the same period.

TikTok has faced multiple bans in Pakistan in recent years over “immoral” content, with the first suspension imposed in October 2020.
