Apple has confirmed that its next global launch event will be held on September 9 at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park, California.
The event, promoted under the tagline “Awe dropping,” is expected to showcase major updates across the company’s product range.
The highlight will be the introduction of the iPhone 17 lineup. According to industry reports, Apple plans to release a standard iPhone 17 alongside two Pro versions. The long-running Plus model is expected to be discontinued, replaced by a slimmer iPhone 17 Air with a 6.6-inch display and a thickness of 5.5mm, making it the thinnest iPhone to date.
The base iPhone 17 model is also reported to feature a larger 6.3-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate — an upgrade from the 60Hz displays of earlier standard versions.
In addition to smartphones, Apple is expected to introduce the Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and Apple Watch SE 3, with the Ultra 3 tipped to deliver the most significant improvements, including a larger display and faster charging speeds.
The company may also unveil AirPods Pro 3, marking the first major refresh to the product in three years.
Beyond hardware, Apple is expected to spotlight a redesigned Liquid Glass software interface and provide further details on its Apple Intelligence platform, including new artificial intelligence features designed to enhance Siri’s performance.
