Toddler dies after falling into water tank in Karachi's Manghopir

A one-and-a-half-year-old child died after falling into a water tank in Karachi's Manghopir area.

The girl’s body was retrieved and shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in an Edhi ambulance, where she was identified as one-and-a-half-year-old Muntasha, daughter of Abdullah.

Manghopir SHO Raja Zulfiqar Haider said that the cattle shed where the girl’s body was found belonged to her father, while the family’s house was located adjacent to it.

He said the girl had gone outside the house to play and accidentally fell into the water tank at the cattle shed, drowning as a result.

After completing legal formalities, police handed over the girl’s body to her family.
