A cattle trader from Dadu was robbed of Rs11.5 million at the cattle market in Karachi’s Malir area, with CCTV footage exposing the suspected thief carrying away the cash-filled sack.

The incident occurred at the cattle market set up ahead of Eidul Azha, where traders from across Sindh and other parts of the country bring livestock for sale.

According to reports, the trader had sold his animals and was preparing to return to his hometown when an unidentified suspect allegedly fled with a bag containing Rs11.5 million — the trader’s entire earnings.

CCTV footage from the market reportedly shows a man swiftly leaving the area while carrying the sack filled with cash.

Despite the footage, police have so far failed to arrest the suspect. Investigations into the theft are underway.
