Robbers flee with Rs3.3 million from a petrol pump in Karachi

An incident took place in Karachi’s Korangi where armed robbers robbed a petrol pump of heavy cash amount and fled the scene.

According to police, the incident took place near Singer Chowrangi, where suspects entered a petrol pump and robbed the cashier. They snatched Rs3.3 million cash before escaping.

Police claimed that the cashier was taking the money to a bank for deposit when the incident happened. The cashier, reportedly, was transporting the cash without a security guard, which made him vulnerable to the robbery.

An FIR has been registered, and investigation is under way to catch the suspects. Police is trying to obtain a CCTV footage from the petrol pump and nearby areas to identify those involved in the robbery.
