'Resolute Stance': CNSC underscores defence and diplomacy at PMA Kakul

Addressing the passing-out ceremony at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, Commander National Strategic Command (CNSC) General Aamer Raza has reaffirmed the commitment to "defend every inch of the motherland" while highlighting Pakistan's diplomatic efforts for peace through the Islamabad Accord (MoU signed between the United States and Iran).

"To those who harbour hostile designs across our borders, our stance remains resolute and unambiguous. There is no space for conflict or war in a nuclearised environment," the CNSC remarked, as quoted by Dawn. He added that any miscalculation would be met with a response far beyond the imagination or calculation of the initiator.

The statement came in response to provocative remarks by Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who on Thursday warned that Pakistan would face a strike "even bigger than last time" if any incident of "cross-border terrorism" occurred. It is noted that the BJP-led government relied heavily on an anti-Pakistan narrative to garner votes, especially when unrest ensued in Delhi over electoral voter-list fraud.

CNSC General Aamer Raza further warned that any cross-border aggression would not be tolerated.

"Our decisive role in restoring regional stability, exemplified by the landmark Islamabad Accord, demonstrates our enduring commitment to peace and diplomatic de-escalation," he remarked, commending Pakistan's diplomatic efforts for global peace.

He also expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people. "The Pakistani nation stood resolute and unwavering in its diplomatic, moral and political support for the Palestinians," he added.

He further discussed the impact of technology on modern warfare. He also congratulated the passing-out cadets and their families, saying the occasion would be a memorable one.
