Quadcopter crashes on house rooftop in Islamabad

A quadcopter crashed on the rooftop of a house in Islamabad’s rural area, police said on Friday.

According to the police, a resident of the house in Model Town Humak informed authorities after spotting the quadcopter on the roof.

Police reached the site soon after receiving the report, sealed off the area and took the quadcopter into custody.

An official said investigators were trying to determine where the quadcopter was flown from and who was operating it.

He added that efforts were under way to trace those responsible and establish the purpose of the flight.
