Punjab educational boards announce revised Matric, Intermediate exam schedule

All nine educational boards in Punjab have announced the revised schedule for Matriculation and Intermediate examinations, postponing the start of exams due to the upcoming month of Ramazan.

According to an official circular, the Matric (Class 10) annual examinations, which were initially scheduled to begin on March 3, will now commence from March 27. The results of the Matric annual exams will be announced on August 6.

The notification further stated that the Intermediate (Class 12) annual examinations will begin on May 20, while the results are scheduled to be announced on September 23.

As per the updated timetable, the Class 9 results will be announced on September 2, whereas the First Year (Class 11) results will be released on August 22.

The schedule for supplementary examinations has also been issued. Matric supplementary exams will start from October 6, with results expected on December 8. Meanwhile, the Intermediate supplementary examinations will commence on November 3, and their results will be announced on January 12, 2027.
