Nation determined to wipe away terrorism from country, says PM Shahbaz on APS anniversary

PM Shahbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari, on the 11th anniversary of APS attack, honored the victims of the APS attack and claimed that the entire nation is united in its resolve to curb terrorism from the country.

PM Shahbaz Sharif said that the killing of the innocent children, teachers and staff on December 16, 2014 APS attack was one of the most horrific events in the history of Pakistan and the pain and anger associated with it in nations heart will never go away rather it will be directed towards eliminating terrorism from the country. He stated that all possible measures will be taken to achieve this goal.

While, President Asif Zardari, in expressing his sentiments said that wiping terrorism from the country is non-negotiable. He said that the entire nation stands in solidarity with the families of the victims of the APS attack. He also honored families of APS victims who transformed their grief into strength, and are working to fight terrorism in one way or the other.

He further stated that security forces of Pakistan will continue to catch every terrorist and facilitator until justice is served. He commended the efforts of the country’s security forces, law enforcement agencies and intelligence services for their role in preventing further damage to the peace of the country.
