Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) Chairman Mehmood Khan Achakzai’s daughter, Thattera Achakzai, has drawn criticism after she referred to Pakistan as a “Temu version of Israel” in response to the country’s retaliatory airstrikes against Afghanistan following unprovoked cross-border aggression.
Taking to X, Thattera condemned Pakistan’s military action and accused the state of having “the blood of Pashtuns, Baloch, and Afghans” on its hands.
Her remarks sparked outrage on social media, with several users accusing her of making anti-Pakistan statements and siding with Afghanistan. Critics also pointed out that she displays Afghanistan’s national flag in her X bio.
Pakistan is the Temu's cheapest version of Isreal, a hypocrite and Barbaric state whose hands are chained by the grt masters of the free world, whose hands are covered with the bloods of millions of Innocent people i.e The Baloch, Pashtuns and the Afghans#AfghanistanPakistanWar

Many users criticised her for drawing a salary from a public university while publicly denouncing the state.
“Thattera Achakzai’s statement is not only anti-Pakistan but also completely misleading. Comparing Pakistan to the ‘Temu’s cheapest version of Israel’ is offensive, baseless, and disrespectful to the sacrifices of the Pakistani people,” said X user Shahzad Younas Sheikh.
He further added, “Those supporting her remarks are essentially promoting a narrative that seeks to defame Pakistan.”

Despite the backlash, Thattera stood by her stance, refusing to change her bio or retract her comments. She continued to receive support from some users who claimed she was being unfairly targeted for expressing her views.
Following the controversy, the University of Balochistan issued a notice to Thattera Achakzai, seeking an explanation over her social media remarks. The letter stated that her actions violated the university’s code of conduct and warned that disciplinary action could follow if she failed to provide a written response.

I don’t understand this. My family migrated from India. You will never see an Indian flag in my bio or my name. I got tons of Indian friends & some of my extended family is still in India. But I am a proud Pakistani.
